Day 1 After arrival in Haiti,a DNH representative transfers you to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome Creole refreshment with your traveling Zanmi which means friend in Creole. Begins your exploration with a walking tour of the picturesque city of Cap Haitian. Next we visit one of the most historical public square in Caribean” The Place D’armes”, there we learn the history of the Square from Generals to Revolutionary figures who have been put to death on this square to the 1842 earthquake survivors. While we are there, you will be amazed by the country’s most Iconic building” The Famous Cathedrale of Notre Dame with its bronze covered dome which came be seen from anywhwre in the City. Next we visit four of the top ten most prestigious Catholic schools in the country and several other churches, historical properties before we head back to the hotel to savor the Northern Haiti’s exquisite cuisine.
Day 2 we get high and above all things in the city,start right off the beaten path to morne-jean/ to experience” The Cross” perched atop of the 718 meters mountain overlooking the entire city of Cap, the Atlantic Ocean, and Northeast region to the right and Northern coastline including the Caribbean popular beach of Labadee and the Eastern Coast of Cuba to the left. Learn the story of how ”The Cross” came to be and most importantly enjoy the manifestation of God creation, witness the amzaing faith of the Haitian people. You will be mesmerized as you sit down to listen the sound of nature,the verdant mountains with lush tropical vegetation, the beautiful blue sky, the unobstructed panoramic view of pure beauty of nature, all of that while you sit to enjoy your picnic style lunch. Day 3 Enjoy a Creole breakfast,then We begin to travel from town to town, our first stop is Bord de Mer Limonade, a small seaside fishing village famous for its Pilgrimage Festival, interestingly the historical value of this town hasn’t really been exploited . Formerly a Taino Village back in the 1100′s, when Columbus Crossed the Atlantic ocean, The Santa Maria ran aground there on Christmas Eve, 1492. Columbus believed that was a sign from God, he built Fort Navidad meaning Christmas with the remainder of the ship. We visit the site of the first ever Christmas celebration in the new world and the ancient Cathedrale of Nativity. Next we head to Limonade to visit the Church of St Anne, legend has that King Henry of Haiti saw an Angel who warned him about going to that church where he would suffered from massive stroke. After exploring Limonade we head to the majestic town of Milot, the Capital of the ancient Kingdom of the North when King Henry ruled half of the Country. We walk around the Majestic Palace of Sans Souci and explore the chapel of Marie Immaculate with its rare architectural design that dazzles the mind of many. We return to our hotel or to a local restaurant to enjoy dinner.
Day 4 Immediately after morning breakfast, we aboard a 15 passengers boat to explore a scenic ride of the Northern Atlantic coastline to visit many secluded beaches, Islets, and unhabitated Islands. A picnic style lunch is served at one of the secluded and pristine Beach. This is the most relaxing part of the tour and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Day 5 Your final stop in the tourist Market in Cap Haitian for some souvenirs for loved one abroad. Boarding your tour bus and enjoy fun quizes to test your memory and mingle with each other before reaching your departing destination.
